The Burketown Visitor Centre facilitates regional participation in State and Federal government tourism promotion initiatives. Indigenous Culture, landscape, and adventure experiences provide a dynamic platform for the local experiences that you can encounter as a visitor to Burketown and the offerings of the Visitor Centre.

A large range of brochures, mud maps and information sheets about the history of Burketown are available. There is also articles and photographs about the amazing waves of the 'Morning Glory' cloud formation, which until quite recently was one of Australia's best kept secrets.

It is open during the tourist season from April to October, Monday to Sunday 8.30am - 4pm.
